Amber Beads

There are two products that people consider amber beads. The first is the machine formed (called pressed amber) product and the second is the hand carved and tumbled natural baltic amber.

In this picture you see two examples of rosaries made with tumbled Natural Baltic Amber chips and one made with pressed amber beads. Note the one in the center has beads that are uniformly shaped. The "beads" on the other two are not unifomly shaped. Click on the picture to see a larger image.
