About White Listing
You may not receive information from us unless you read this material and follow the recommendations given.
If you use AOL as your email provider, this is essential. If you use AOL you will probably not get the information that we have already sent you and we may not be able to communicate with you at all. So it is in your best intereste to read this information.
The information in this page discusses how internet service providers interfere with legitimate business correspondence and how it affects you now and your future business. It also discusses how other systems can affect your business.
If you have a challenge response anti spam system that requires one to respond to your challenge before you can receive an email message, you are likely to not to get information from many people - and certainly not us. Responding to challenges is an unnecessary waste of time and dangerous. Many people do not respond for several reasons. One of which is that false challenges are often sent that are spam themselves and they are traps to send the responder to a porn site - often child porn. So experienced people do not respond.
If you are in business, you will find that the use of a challenge response anti spam system will lose you customers. If you do not want to lose customers, but still want to limit spam, we recommmend that you read the information that you find by going to Spam Control
Now some information about Internet Service Provider Interference with your business.
More and more ISPs are using filtering systems to try and keep Spam out of customers' inboxes. Sometimes, they accidentally filter the e-mail that you want to receive.
So that you can receive information from us, be sure that the Chamber of Commerce price lists and support information andsupport e-mails are not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" folder, please add the Chamber of Commerce to your list of trusted senders. Here's how:
Hotmail: Place the domains chamberofcommerce.pl and chamberofcommerce.com.pl on your Safe List, so that you can receive our price lists and information e-mails. Also, please place qlbr.com on your safe list so you can receive our support replies. The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link next to the main menu tabs.
AOL: Place the domains chamberofcommerce.pl and chamberofcommerce.com.pl and qlbr.com in your Address Book.
Yahoo! Mail: If one of our communications is filtered to your 'bulk' folder, open the message and click on the "this is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.
Some spam filters: Place the domains chamberofcommerce.pl and chamberofcommerce.com.pl and qlbr.com on the filter's whitelist. You may need to search a filter's help for how to do this -- and depending on software/version, they may call a "whitelist," a "good list", "list of friends" or similar name.
Other ISPs:
If you do not receive communications from us because it is being filtered, try adding our domains chamberofcommerce.pl and chamberofcommerce.com.pl and qlbr.com or our email communications 'From' or 'Reply-to' address to your address book or contact list. If this option is not available, try moving the message to your 'inbox' or forwarding the message to yourself.
If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from domains chamberofcommerce.pl and chamberofcommerce.com.pl and qlbr.com . Follow their instructions for whitelisting.
It's a shame to bother you like this, but in this day and age, we feel like the dolphin caught in the tuna-spam net. We support fully the anti-spam motivations of all mail servers and ISPs.
But some are simply unfair to bona fide, honest companies. For example SpamCop, can blacklist a
company simply because someone complains about them. Since the blacklisted company does not even receive the common courtesy of receiving the e-mail address of the complainant from SpamCop, they cannot even check to see if that address has been subscribed to their newsletter list or if they requested information (people do forget they subscribed... often).
This is the case with this Chamber of Commerce. We get hundreds of requests per day from companies who want free services and free help to sell their products into Poland. We do not provide it. As such our domains are added maliciously to SpamCop. So if your ISP subscribes to SpamCop, you will not get any information from us. You will have to use and email address with another domain name. Get a free email address and contact us again. And we recommend that you change your internet service provider and get one that does not subscribe to SpamCop. Alternatively you can contact your ISP and tell them that they are hurting your business.
Remember, someone may also list you, maliciously. How easy is it? All I have to do is complain and you are blocked. That is all. And see what it takes to get off SpamCop. Good luck.
It's unfair to the dolphins, but that's the way it is, unfortunately. Net result? Tens of
thousands of e-mails can be blocked because of an unfair, abusive complaint that cannot be verified, and for which there is no recourse at SpamCop who have made themselves virtually inaccessible.
So please do make sure that your mail server or ISP is not accidentally keeping Chamber of Commerce information from you.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but these circumstances are beyond our control. All you and we can do is work together with the ISPs to shut out the spammers.
After all of this, please check your email box. If you did not get a message from us, try using another email address and send us mail. We will help you.
