Traditional Polish Costumes And Accessories
This page contains a short video showing some of the tradtional Polish costumes and accessories that are sold in Poland.
Such costumes are generally made by women who make pieces one at a time. Occasionally they sell the costumes on their own but more often they make to order of someone who travels around Poland and sells at fairs and to shops in the tourist areas.
They do not sell wholesale and they do not export. One price fits all.
They do not have catalogs. What you see is what you get. One might call it tradtional clothes made and sold the tradtional way.
To get in contact with these people you have to either be in Poland or have someone in Poland buy for you.
If you use someone to buy for you, it is best to install Skype on your computer and then use the video telephone call feature to look at what clothing and accessories the seller has in stock.
That is definitely not a traditional way to buy, but it is effective.
Below the video are links to get information about buying and a link that discusses a procurement service.
